AccuCheck is a valuable tool for identifying allocation errors and has assisted in millions of dollars of revenue recovery for clients.

What is AccuCheck?

AccuCheck is a web-enabled tool that resides within the ProTrend fluid analysis application, and is also available as a stand-alone application. This tool enables users to verify, with a high degree of accuracy, the quantity and value of product allocations to individual wells or gas receipt points. Using a small subset of data, AccuCheck enables users quickly and easily compare the amount of residue gas and products actually received against the amount that should have been allocated to the well or receipt point, pinpointing any discrepancies with $ value differences highlighted.

How does AccuCheck work?

Accucheck calculates the expected quantity and value of allocated products by using the volume and composition of raw products delivered to a system with the original allocated products, the allocation system consumption, plant liquid recovery and the meter difference information. Key ratios are calculated and the expected allocation is compared to the actual product allocation. Allocation issues are easily identified from the AccuCheck reports and can be used to initiate action with processors, producers or partners.

AccuCheck will allow you to:

Validate product allocations for wells flowing to outside operated processing facilities Respond to third party allocation queries at your own processing facilities Estimate the impact of changes in data such as analyses, meter difference, as well as fuel and consumption Verify plant liquid recoveries.

How to access AccuCheck?

Existing ProTrend users can request to have the AccuCheck module activated and can access AccuCheck under the ProTrend ‘Tools and Calculators’ menu. This enables users to take advantage of their ability to search for and select analyses from within the ProTrend software database. No additional keying required!

Non-ProTrend users can access AccuCheck as a web-enabled stand-alone software application and will receive the same results. The only difference between AccuCheck as a standalone tool and AccuCheck within ProTrend is that standalone AccuCheck users will be required to key the composition of the gas stream being tested.
